2025/2026 Season Info
Prestons Robins Little Athletics Centre holds weekly competitions from September through to mid-March each Friday night at the Ash Road Sporting Complex for children between 3 to 19 years (T&C’s apply) of age of any ability. Keep in touch regarding information for our 2025/2026 Season which will become available here mid-late July 2025 prior to registrations opening on 1 August 2025.
About Us
Little Athletics is a Summer sport for children between 3 to 19 years (T&C’s apply) of age of any ability. Prestons Robins Little Athletics Centre holds weekly competition from September through to mid-March each Friday night at the Ash Road Sporting Complex. We are all about Family, Fun and Fitness for young athletes, teaching kids sport foundations and skills via running, jumping and throwing.
We offer a 2 week program which starts at 6pm for alternate weeks for Race Walks/Long Hurdles and Javelin and the other events start at 6.30pm for a variety of track and field events.
The weekly competition provides fun through participation in an enjoyable sport, with friends in the same age group. Athletes are encouraged to reach their potential through regular attendance and participation.
Athletics requires a great amount of officiating which is done by the parents of the athletes as it is a volunteer organisation. Without assistance from parents, our children miss out on what could be a great friendship made, skill learnt or potential talent achieved.
