2026/27 Season Age Groups

Athletes are placed into age groups based on their age as at 31 December 2027 for the current Little Athletics season. All athletes must compete in their correct age group in accordance with Little Athletics NSW regulations.

All new members are required to provide Proof of Age (such as a birth certificate or hospital Blue Book/card) when registering. This ensures eligibility can be verified and athletes are placed in the correct age group.

Eligibility

• Born in Oct 2023 or later: Your child is currently too young to participate in Little Athletics. We’d love to welcome them once they turn 3 years of age – please check back with us then.
• Born in 2007 or earlier: Athletes are not eligible to compete in Little Athletics. For senior athletics opportunities, please contact Athletics NSW on (02) 9746 1122.
